October 29, 2007. A Guide to Responsible Caving (published by
the NSS) was added to the MAKC Library page.
October 28, 2007. Two additional picture pages have been added

July 03, 2006. Online transactions were added to the MAKC
website. The site is currently set to accept donations for the Danielson
Challenge Grant and membership renewals.
Donations and memberships can be completed using either a credit card or
PayPal account. In the near future, merchandise from the MAKC
store will also be available for online purchases.
June 11, 2006. The MAKC has announced a new challenge

June 11, 2006. The Long Quarry trip
report by Kerry Speelman was updated and additional trip pictures from
Jeff Jahn were added.
May 21, 2006. The MAKC launches a new email distribution list
for members. Click here for details.
May 21, 2006. Alex Boughamer, the former Pennsylvania caver
now living in Idaho, had
the opportunity to go on a round the world cruise from December 27, 2005 to
April 28, 2006. Alex was a dance instructor/sports director on the
cruise and he visited at least 30 countries during the cruise. He has an
interesting account of his adventures online at http://www.myspace.com/boughamer.
He didn’t get to do much caving, but he did visit two commercial caves in
Vietnam. He also reported doing a hodag yell in the Taj Majal with at
least a 15-second echo.

May 20, 2006. Board members Kerry
Speelman and Mike Schirato both
passed the Professional Geologist Licensing exam and are now licensed
professional geologists. Congratulations!
